This beautifully illustrated personalized book is a powerful way to show a child how absolutely unique and special she is. My Very Own Fairy Tale is a 8 1/2" x 11" hardcover, professionally bound book that transports little girls into a magical garden where flower and berry fairies crown her as their fairy princess. Enchanting fairies bring letters one by one to spell out the child's name, while describing character traits that make the recipient alone the perfect princess. The sunflower fairy brings an S and says she knows a smart girl who would be a great princess; the hollyberry brings an H and says she knows an honest girl, and so on. At the end, the fairies crown the special girl as their fairy princess in a grand celebration. It makes a keepsake gift for new baby girls through age 12!

As an added personal touch, this educational book includes the child's birthdate, a printed dedication from the sender, and an illustrated Fairy Patch featuring 62 fairies with interesting facts about their flowers and berries. The book was written by Maia Haag and illustrated by Joyce Patti, the former President of the New York Society of Illustrators.
